Your email best practices consultant
I'm looking for work!
If you'll forgive me, I'm going to be not-humble for a second here:
I know more about email best practices — on the design side and dev side, as well as accessibility and ADA compliance, content strategy, engagement, et cetera — than anyone else you'll ever meet. I would like to share this expertise with you and your company.
I've been working in digital media for over twenty years, and I often joke that I've sort of accidentally specialized in emails (and banner ads!) for the last decade or so. It's a dubious honor, but it's one that I honestly embrace! As weird as it may sound, even to myself, I am passionate about helping people understand what it takes to create great emails — and when I say great emails, I mean not just emails that look beautiful, but emails that will be successful for your clients.
In the last five years or so I've been in a really fortunate position that has allowed me to work with dozens of brand teams every week, producing literally hundreds of emails every year. I've seen the patterns of what works in emails, and what doesn't. I'd like to share that with you.
There's a tremendous deficiency around emails in our industry, and it's painful to see. A lot of digital professionals sort of casually think, "It's just an email," and they approach it as if it were a microsite or a brochure. This is a huge miss. Emails are their own unique challenge, and understanding that is key. Making great, successful emails is actually easy (and cheap!) when you know how — the trick is to step back and acknowledge that you maybe don't know how, and that you need some guidance. Once you've opened your mind to rethinking emails, the rest is a piece of cake!
I'm the guy who can help your agency with this. I can help your team create work that will produce results that your clients are thrilled by. Get in touch at manning@manningkrull.com.
